HMS Fine Arts

Music is an essential part of a well-rounded education.  Hayden takes pride in our music program and understand how much it can add to a student's growth and wellbeing. Music takes you places you would never dream, and in the wise words of the late Robert W. Smith, "It is not the size of your town, but the size of your dreams."

All 5th graders take a basic music class during their "specials" period each week. 

6th and 7th grade students can participate in beginning band, concert band, or choir. Students in band perform at least two times per year, and choir students participate in various community performances. 

Once students enter Hayden High School, they can continue their musical learning with The Pride of Hayden Marching Band and/or participate in theatre productions.
