Requesting Prior Approval for Absences

If a prior approval is needed, the following guidelines must be followed: A.  Email [email protected] the completed anticipated absences request form or you can send them to the school with your student. Click HERE for the form. B. Prior approval is only granted for emergencies per Mrs. Hicks's and Mrs. Johnson's discretion. Prior approvals will not be granted retroactively. C. Students must have a 95% attendance average at the time of the absence to be granted prior approvals. Starting in the fall of 2020, prior approvals WILL NOT BE GRANTED during the twenty school days after Labor Day. Please avoid planning vacations during the school year.
