Requesting Prior Approval for Absences

Per the HMS handbook:
If a prior approval is needed, the following guidelines must be followed: A.  Email to request prior approval for an absence. Prior approval will not be granted retroactively. B. Only two days of prior approval may be granted each academic year. C.  Students must have a 94% attendance average at the time of the absence for the absence to be counted as prior approval. Starting in the fall of 2019, prior approvals WILL NOT BE GRANTED during the twenty school days after Labor Day.
