Hayden Middle School serves students in grades five through seven. Students at HMS are provided a rigorous academic program and an introduction to the arts in a fun and safe environment. With active and engaging classrooms along with social and emotional supports, our goal is to care for the whole child. We believe that all of students basic needs must be met for them to flourish academically and socially.

The Blount County School family is heartbroken to learn of the passing of one of our students this morning in a tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the student’s family, friends, and teachers at this most difficult of times. The impact of such a loss cannot be measured. Counseling support and therapy dogs are being provided at Locust Fork Elementary to assist our students and staff during the grieving process. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and the Locust Fork Community.
